Alias paraffin oil, white oil and mineral oil are mixtures of refined liquid hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum, mainly saturated naphthenes and alkanes. Crude oil is obtained by regular and vacuum fractionation, solvent extraction and dewaxing, and hydrorefining. Mineral oil usually refers to crude oil (or oil) which has been exploited and preliminarily processed. Oil is a natural mineral product buried underground. The unrefined oil which has been explored and exploited is also called crude oil. At room temperature, the refined products of crude oil are called petroleum products. According to custom, the base oil extracted from petroleum by physical distillation method is called mineral oil base oil. The refining process mainly divides crude oil into different parts to obtain the required products. The main separation processes include the distillation and separation of crude oil into crude gasoline, crude kerosene, crude diesel oil, heavy diesel oil, various lubricant fractions, cracking feed oil and residual oil (also known as residual oil) and the solvent separation used for the purification of various lubricating oils. The production process is mainly physical process, and does not change the hydrocarbon structure. The base oil produced depends on the content and properties of the ideal components in the raw materials. Because the impurities contained in the mineral oil can not be cleaned up during the refining process, the flow point of the base oil obtained is higher and it is not suitable for cold zone operation. Therefore, the nature of the base oil of mineral oil is limited to a certain extent. Mineral oil is called white mineral oil or white oil in some fields. Commonly used are industrial grade white oil, cosmetic grade white oil, medical grade white oil, food grade white oil and so on. Different types of white oil have different uses.
